Transforming the Library
Throughout this year, Rosie and I, along with the help of Steve Green, have been working on revamping the library. We will be continuing to work on this in the coming months.

Premier’s Reading Challenge STEM Design Challenge
Earlier in the year, the F-5 students participated in the PRC STEM Design Challenge. Our focus had a space theme. The students were some of the 2000 students throughout South Australia who entered the competition. Jim Johnson was one of 25 students whose work was considered outstanding. He was awarded some great STEM based books. Congratulations Jim.
Media Arts
This term, we are continuing to develop our skills in Media Arts. Currently, all students are creating work for the school magazine. Once this is finished, they will continue working in Stop Motion Animation.
Last term, the F-2 students worked in Book Creator. These have been turned into videos and have been uploaded to the library blog.

Digital Literacy
The F-5 students are close to finishing their Scratch Jr projects. Once completed, they will have the opportunity to critique the game of another student. Testing out their projects is part of the process in game development. It helps to iron out some of the issues that occur when developing games.
