Year 3-6 News Term 4, 2024

Term 4 is turning out to be a busy term in the 3-6 classroom. In HASS, we will be learning all about human rights, and the 3-4 class are studying Data in Maths and are continuing on delving into many aspects of literacy including spelling, writing, information reports and reading.

Many Year 3-4 students attended the Children’s University excursion to Adelaide, and many also attended a local music workshop. A family fun day was held on Saturday 9 November. Students will also commemorate Remembrance Day at the Hawker War Memorial. Later in the term, some students will participate in a local tennis tournament.

As part of our new Positive Behaviour for Learning strategy, students are enjoying collecting points to be spent every Friday at our Rewards Café, and are also busy rehearsing a piece for Presentation Night. And, of course, it is soon the end of the school year!
